It goes to show he and like the rest cannot handle the physicality and demand of the premier league which is why it’s the greatest league in the world only a handful of players were able to cope with it past and present.

I don’t think they’ll get Top 4. And it doesn’t get any easier for them either because they have Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Real Madrid and Manchester City before the International Break and in honesty I don’t see where the points will come from. In their last 3 against Palace, Palace have won.. as for Aston Villa they are one of the those sides you cannot underestimate and I reckon the bare minimum they’ll get is a draw at best. I reckon they’ll get beaten by Real Madrid and I bet Halaand will just be thinking to himself create me those chances and let me at that Liverpool Defence at this point. So City will beat them.

You're in a top 4 race

By that logic, considering we barely changed the squad between Klopp's last season and Slot's first season (only Chiesa who barely played) then we should have won the league title under Klopp rather than finish 3rd?

Hopefully the English teams do well in Europe again and it can be a race for top 5 :awesome:

Not really sure what the solution is right now but Slot needs to work it out quickly. No doubt he gets a lot of grace due to winning the league last season but equally I expect there is a limit.

In the summer I was super surprised that we overhauled so much of the squad and this is why. You can buy talented players but it's not enough in the modern game, you need a cohesive team but that doesn't come from 11 strangers playing together.

Slot needs to just focus on picking the in form players rather than the big names. I'd be picking the most combative XI rather than the expensive XI as we need to be doing more than we are. Trying to carry too many players at the moment and it's not working.
