Deloitte Money League released for the 2021/22 season

Reply 561

Obviously a large part due to the success on the pitch last season where we played every possible game and reached the CL final, FA Cup final and League Cup final.

First time we've been ahead of Man Utd (but probably drop behind next season).

Not like Chelsea have a equally odd looking team. Going to be an odd game

Ah yes, poor Liverpool.

Reply 568

That took nearly 2 minutes to rule out but as soon as he struck it you could tell it was offside.

I like VAR but how long it takes for cut and dry decisions is baffling.

Gakpo loooool

Surprised the internet hasn’t started calling him Gakpoo it’s the lowest of low hanging fruit.

Reply 571

Considering the abuse Nunez gets for his finishing, I’ve never seen a professional forward with such odd technique as Gakpo when shooting.

Hopefully it’ll settle down when he eventually scores one but he just looks so awkward at the minute.

Also, has Elliot actually touched the ball yet?

This shouldnt be a suspire to Liverpool fans. He plays like he won a competition or something

Both teams look like bottom half of the table sides, youre both punching above weight at midtable.

Same here for us.

This entire match is so memes. Please take Gallagher from us. He's an upgrade from Elliot at least.

The passing is absolutely diabolical throughout the entire team. Nobody seems able to play an easy pass into the correct area.

Elliot, and again this isn’t his fault, is completely wrong for the set-up. He’s never a left winger and it’s completely destroying the balance.

If Elliot was to be shoehorned into this game, for scoring a luckily goal against a woefully out of position Wolves keeper, he should be playing as the right forward, Gakpo as the left forward and Salah down the centre. Has all three players in positions they are comfortable in and understand.

Chelsea look pretty crap as well but still look far beyond Liverpool in this game.

We look just as bad as you guys.

Reply 579

Gallagher lmao. This guy might be the worst midfielder I've seen play for us.
