Lmao just seen some of naby keitas injuries/unavailability and god this guy.

Worst one is when he became a prisoner of war 😭😭😭 @Mess. Liverpool legend.

Fit for the CL final though.

Lad is a clear trooper, gives anything for the cause, as long as the cause isn’t playing football for Liverpool.

My favourite one is when he was out for 2-3 weeks because he pulled his neck sitting down…

Naby was probably one of the few bad transfers we did under the Klopp era. You can see what they saw (re technical ability) but paid like 50mil, waited a year for the lad and then we got very little back for it in terms of availability/performances on the pitch AND now he's leaving on a free.

I do think that the buying him a year early thing is just something that doesn’t work, you can see by his last season at Leipzig that he had lost a touch of the hunger and focus, which he then couldn’t get back once he got to Liverpool.

I don’t really have any problems with the decision to buy Naby, as it looked like he would fit and drive the midfield forward from the Brexit midfield.

My true issue with the Naby situation is not bombing him last summer or the summer before. I don’t care if it would’ve lost us money but having him there took a space up and brought the team down, as he would get dropped in despite not deserving it.

Agree with the later. Klopp too loyal to players instead of bombing them out. Probably why we've had so many leave on frees over recent years as the club refuse to give new deals (whereas Klopp probably would've!)

So fairly certain we're into the Europa League next season. I don't think it's the end of the world and I'm hoping we try and take it seriously and win it since we did lose that final in Klopp's first season.

Obviously we have a few older stars in the side but most of the squad now have age on their side? Between the EL and domestic cups, our young/fringe players should get plenty of minutes next season..

Someone like Tsimikas may have decided to leave this summer due to lack of minutes but he must fancy himself to get 10-20 apps in the cup games if we do well in them next season and then some league games too.

Similarly Curtis and Elliott should get regular game time (Curtis rarely played at the start then lots at the end, Elliott was overplayed at the start and middle then disappeared at the end).

Will depend on who we bring in for midfield and how quickly everyone settles for next season but our end of season form gives me some hope we won't be as **** next season.

Looks like we are going for Alexis MacAllistair. In the last 3 years he has missed 4 games. 3 of them was from a virul infection. Even if he isn't a star player his consistent availability would be an upgrade on our midfield.

Honestly I’ve been hoping for a good while that we go for him. Think he’s quality, and versatile as well as good track record of availability.

Even just playing youth players and anyone who didn’t start the previous game, we should be able to walk the group stages.

Got to finish 1st so we miss the round of 32 and then interesting knockout rounds.

Can see next season being really positive and the refresh we need to get us back into the top 2.

I’d prefer a calmer Europa League with smaller teams in Italy or Azerbaijan than stretching the team with Champs League that we wont win with the current squad

Probably be heating up 3rd spot if that group before dropping into the conference league or worse 4th spot. Yeah enjoy the fixture pile up of Thursday, Sunday football with a decaying squad and Europe prestigious competition football means no pull to liverpool don’t know what MacAllister sees in liverpool 😵*💫

Next season is for transition. Not sure what MacAllister would be doing at Anfield. Need to go for Bellingham.

Good Bellingham didn’t go with liverpool see him coming to Manchester City or Real Madrid. Ageing midfield Kroos at 33 and Modric at 37. Valverde another midfield option with Eduardo Camavinga as well as Dani Ceballos definitely seen as the heir of that midfield to Modric.

City may be relegated if the Premier League is honest in their investigation. Bellingham needs a place to thrive with his boys like Trent and Hendo.

The club should not go for high cost players, best to go for quiet ballers in places like Porto or Wolfsburg

Na liverpool midfield would ruin Bellingham. Trent not been all that, as for Henderson an ageing central defensive midfielder. Liverpool were in for Aureline Tchoumeni but decided Fabinho was better a midfield of Tchoumeni, Camavinga, Bellingham with Valverde, Modric and Kroos to back up with experience and know how to win is just a sense of danger but that’s frightening.

Fabinho is a decent midfielder and has served the club well. It’s time to build and get rid of the burdens. We need young talent who have the hunger and drive to play. It is also annoying to bring in a top footballer and bench him.

Sorry I can name 3 defensive midfielders that have had more of a successful season than Fabinho, Rodri, Thomas Partey, Casemiro is Partey really worthy of a comparison to Fabinho who knows but he ain’t up to par. A top footballer like whom had Bellingham came in he was a must in that central attacking line of midfield games are won and lost in the middle of the park, hence why a chemistry should be built Manchester City is just a prime example Rodri in front of him Gundogan and De Bruyne the orchestra of that midfield KDB the man with experience in Gundogan and Rodri protecting that 3/4.

I agree with you. The midfield needs proper surgery to bring in talents. I would like Fabinho to be in that updated 3/4 pack. The club needs CDMs like Fernandinho or Xabi Alonso.

Fernandinho too old man, don’t see why a club like Liverpool were never in for someone like Declan Rice. I’d honestly take him in a heartbeat he’s wealth of experience and me being a Manchester United fan a trio of Casemiro, Rice and Maybe De Jong/Bruno is Frightening then you’ve got a maestro in Christian Eriksen a bargain bought on a free as well.

I did not mean Fernandinho exactly but someone of his mould. He and Yaya Toure would have helped our midfield.

Rice is honestly overrated imho.

True, United did good business with their midfield.
