Cambridge Ucl architechture

Hi. I am applying for early entry Ucl and Cambridge to study architechture by the 15th. Both courses require a portfolio. My portfolio is not yet prepared but do I apply and then immediately have to upload a portfolio? Or is that stage later on? Thanks

Unis will request your portfolio and advise you of their submission deadline.

Cambridge requires the porfolio to be presented at interview stage. More details here:

UCL will give you an assessment task first. If you pass the assessment you will be invited for interview and be required to present your portfolio.

Note: if you add other choices to your application, requests for your portfolio can start coming in within a couple of weeks and you get around 3-4 weeks to submit it. Different unis require different things so be prepared to adapt it.
Thanks for cleaning that up! 👍😀

Wait, the first point you said
Unis will request a deadline as soon as I apply? or is that excluding cambridge and ucl?

UCL and Cambridge follow the procedures set out on their websites. Most other unis will request your portfolio once they have processed your application and give you a set amount of time to submit it. The time allowed varies from uni to uni and some will set additional tasks, some will interview and others will make offers without interviewing.
Note that you only need to apply to Cambridge by the 15th of October - you can add in all your other choices later, including UCL.

Thanks, I was just worried if I sent my application next week without having a portfolio collated and they asked me to upload it.:frown:
