i'm looking to make a folder of french music on my ipod to keep up my listening practice, as i'm doing the a level this year. i listen to the french news quite often but some variation on that will be nice, i think. anyway, are there any recommendations? i don't mind what sort of music, as it's essentially revision anyway.

thanks for any help.

:p: Haha yep Yelle is good actually. Also try Edith Piaf if you're looking for classics. She's great.

Yann Tiresen, watch Amelie, he did the music for it
but there's not much French that sung, mostly, brilliant instrumental music. That said, check out la bagatelle, lots of French sung in that song!

There is a nice - IMO - cover of Paint it Black by a French artist.
