Accounting apprenticeships questions

I am currently a student in year 12 doing my a levels and I'm considering doing a apprenticeship in accounting. I would like to know if this is worth doing over uni and which apprenticeships are worth doing? could someone please also explain what the different apprenticeship levels mean and which one I should do?

apprenticeships are highly valued by employers as you gain experience, qualifications, education (which you do not have to pay for at all unlike uni) and you get paid. Also, the more years you spend with your employer the higher your salary will get and eventually at the end of your apprenticeship your employer will be looking to keep you at their corporation and will offer very competitive salaries to do so. it is a great alternative to uni and can be very beneficial in the long term (it can help kick start your career in the sector at a young age). The different levels are explained below:
Level 2 (intermediate apprenticeship) - equivalent to GCSEs
Level 3 (advanced apprenticeship) - equivalent to A Levels
Level 4/5 (higher apprenticeship) - equivalent to a foundation degree and above
Level 6 and 7 (degree apprenticeship) - equivalent to a Bachelor's or Masters degree
Some apprenticeships may also give you an additional qualification, such as a diploma.
Doing apprenticeships that are related to the career route you are wanting to take are very very beneficial. i will link some helpful websites below which you can use to help find an apprenticeship and figure out when you want to start and which level you want to do:
