Now come on... if you are seriously planning to apply for university you must be able to make a start at least! There's also this on the UCAS website. The general principles of a PS are the same whatever subject you are applying for. When you have a draft, post in the Social Sciences section of the PS Help forum and someone will take a look at it.

okay if your seriously panicked the basic outline should be:

-Why you want to do and have a passion for law.
-The subjects you have taken and how they have some relevance to law or have developed skills in law.
-any legal work experience? mock bar trial, shadowing barrister?
    - Other interests trying to link back.
    - Conclude with how you deserve a place on a course that thousands are after.

that is basically how you should lay it out.
has your college not helped you?

I'd start with something like this, "Your Honour, if it pleases the court I'd like to study Law at university..."

Fine if that's what you want to do, but the OP needs to be very careful how he uses it, as the UCAS plagiarism detector is alive and well, and will cause him a great deal of hassle if he gets it wrong.

I see from your other posts that you are, yourself, re-applying. If someone else uses parts of your PS you may get caught in the UCAS plagiarism detection system yourself.

if you're not capable of producing a 700 word essay on yourself, and why you're suited to a course like law, i'm pretty sure you shouldn't be taking it. a PS is not that hard? honestly...

Well that was a constructive comment...

If I were you Adam, you need to take into account that your first sentence is probably the most important. If this doesn't wow the administrator then he won't be motivated to read the rest of the personal statement.
You then need to cover the basics:
-Why you want to study Law
    -What made you choose Law
-How you are suited for the course - need to mention business side of things too.
-Why you want to go to Uni
-Experience (don't worry not many people can grab their hands on any)
-Anything you've read or any prior knowledge about Law/Business
    -Personal traits that are useful
-Anything about your subjects that you think has prepared you for the course
-Any extra-curricular activities (that are relevant)

That's all I can really think of at the moment...
