Assuming the majority here at heterosexual; if you're not, then people of the opposite sex.

What if someone who has a personality that you adore, but has an ugly figure that is profoundly unappealing to you in that sense, would like to be a friend of yours; or, more appropriately, a close friend of yours.

Would you form that friendship or would you slowly dismiss them?

    Why would anyone dismiss them?

Of course I'd be friends with them, who wouldn't?

Having said that, I'd describe myself as ugly, so it'd be a bit unfair for me to judge people on looks as I have none to speak of.

For a start I would be so shallow!. Ofcourse I would allow them to become my friend. Friendship is about liking a person for who they are not what they look like.

Why would you not be friends with someone who's ugly? Being unattractive isn't infectious!

Yeah, no wonder I have no friends, I must be far too ugly

Seriously though I have friends from all over the shop, their all different in shape, size, look, ages and yet every one is special to me regardless of the way they look.

Most people I know if they have amazing personality like confident and funny, they are popular in my school. I wouldnt dismiss someone for their looks and I wouldnt want someone to do that to me.

Why shouldn't you be friends with someone just because they are "ugly"? Even if you find them ugly, I'm sure there are some people out there that find them attractive.
