Bath v. Durham v. Bristol v. Newcastle MSc Human Resource Management

Hi everyone!
I'm applying to unis in the UK for master's in HRM. There are so many programmes to choose from that I'm really confused. My options are Bath, Exeter, Bristol, Manchester, Loughborough, Leeds, Reading, Lancaster, Durham, Edinburgh, Strathclyde and York. I know that's a long list but please help me out. I looked at the rankings, league tables to compile this list. Any inputs welcome. Thanks.
Which ones are accredited by CIPD?

All of them. But I guess Bath doesn't have much info on the website regarding CIPD. And Bath has an additional component of consulting along with HRM modules.

Oh, I must've been mistaken then. Keeping Bristol aside, which ones would you suggest? My goal is to bolster employability in this domain and my bachelor's is in law.

Hi,
This is very helpful. Thanks so much! Loughborough is one of my options and I'll be applying in a week or two. I'd like to know more about employability, career fairs and the kind of employers that recruit candidates from this programme. I went through the programme specifications and liked the modules but I want to know more from a career and professional development perspective. Thanks for your help.

Hi Sakshi,

It’s great to hear from you and we’re glad we could help.

Our School of Business and Economics is committed to helping you develop the skills and qualities to progress in your chosen career.

All graduates from the school are invited to attend an impressive range of extracurricular masterclasses. We host classes on a wide range of business-related topics and have hosted speakers from organisations such as the Bank of England, Shazam, Shell and Dell.

This programme will equip you with the skills you need to bring expertise to both specialist HR and more general management roles in both private and public sector organisations. For more information about the specific roles the programme is designed to lead to, we would recommend speaking to the school who runs the programme. You are more than welcome to email them at [email protected].

Loughborough offers a Careers Network too. This allows students to book individual appointments, coaching, places at careers events and more. You are welcome to contact the Careers Network for careers advice for up to three years after graduation too.
