I was being serious with pie :|

But, if that's not good enough for you, then how about giving him gratuitous amounts of energy?

I was serious when I said "ouch". It doesn't sound like your boyfriend is over his ex. When did they break up?

Hell yeah, every man has a deep, biological, urge for pie.
Just make sure it's not a fruit pie mind, thats kinky.

He's an adult and capable of making his own choices as to what he wants to wear etc... if he feels the ring is significant to him, then I don't mind him wearing it. She was a childhood sweetheart.

Yeah, he can wear what he wants. However, if he chooses to wear a token of love from a dead relationship then I'd be asking serious questions about whether he's let that relationship go yet.

I'm pretty sure he has let go of her. And I don't mind him wearing it.

Fair enough, it's your relationship, just seems rather unusual.
