Not in the world of lap swimming they don't. Very sensible attire.
Most lap swimmers don’t wear speedos, it’s mostly trunks or swim boxers.

Personally I have always worn the briefs but Jammers are great too. My friends wear a jammer more often.

I always use boxers at swimming. It is comfortable and I am feeling very well in it.
