Yes I had gotten into a sixth form that year luckily and am giving my year 13 end of year exams right now… I got an offer from Uni of Exeter for computer science so that’s what I’m going to do.

Which stream did you select? Aren't the grade boundaries 6 of above for getting into A-levels?

I luckily got in with my 10th cbse board results as science and maths of cbse are equivalent to gcse math and science. I did have to take the gcse english language exam (to prove my proficiency for university applications, IELTS would also work but I chose to take gcse) as cbse english is not equivalent to gcse english.

Hello. I just relocated to London in September and I have completed my Class 10 CBSE Board Exam with a percentage of 87. I am currently 16 and had already started 11th in India with the Commerce w/ maths stream. I have been constantly trying to apply for various sixth form colleges here but unfortunately I’ve not had any luck. I gave my certificate to Ecctis for checking its equivalency but they said that the CBSE English is not equivalent to GCSE English however maths and science (CBSE) have been listed as equivalent to GCSE. I’m looking for colleges in the Lambeth Borough and would appreciate any help. Also I noticed that the old CBSE India and GCSE discussion thread got closed so I just made a second one for me and anyone else in a similar situation. Cheers.

Hi,
I just wanted to ask regarding how did you get the statement of comparability from ECCTIS for science. I completed CBSE 10th grade in 2012. I had applied for a statement of Comparability I only got English and maths, English being unacceptable. I asked them about Science and they said as its very subjective they don't do statement of Comparability for science . Is this true?

I did my GCSE here and waiting for results. Last year I have two issues

1.

Age-below 16

2.

Comparability - since my 10th is from state board, it is equivalent to GCSE level 1
