    Marham
    Lossiemouth

    Brilliant!
If guys/girls don't know the answers they can be found by looking at the bases on www.raf.mod.uk or you can see a full list of all squadrons-planes and their respective bases in the Official RAF Annual Review 09 which is available in Smiths.

Also useful to try it backwards to cement the links

Ie. where are the following based?

    Tornado F3
    Tornado GR4
    VC10
    C-17 Globemaster III
    Tristar
    Nimrod R1
    Nimrod MR2
    Harrier
    Hercules
    SeaKing
    Puma
    Sentinel
    Gazelle
    Reaper MQ-9
    Sentry AEW1

Try doing them in numerical order, and see what the first number is that isn't taken.

But what's 6 allocated to? What's the first dead one that isn't about to be revived?

And get those nasty AAC and NAS numbers away, they may work at Shawbury but they don't really belong to us.

For bonus points, you have at least one missing that I've spotted, plus you need to stick (R) behind 3 of them.

For double-triple bonus points, change the ones that use roman numerals instead of regular numbers to reflect how the squadron's number appears on its crest.
