Hi! Applied to Warwick PPE. Warwick was not initially one of my choices but, a few days ago, I decided to substitute LSE for Warwick. I just received the confirmation email from Warwick yesterday. They said the following:
"The time it takes to make a decision varies from application to application. For very competitive courses such as Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) (BA/BSc) we release decisions in batches, and expect to wait until after the UCAS equal consideration deadline of 25th January 2023 before confirming the majority of our admissions decisions. Depending on the applicant pool in any given year, some individual applicants may hear from us before this point, but you should not be worried if your decision takes a little longer. If your application was submitted by 25th January we will make a decision by 18th May at the latest."
I hope their decision on my application will be released early haha

Sorry to hear that but nothing you can do and it’s better it’s now rather than May although totally understand you never wanted it to happen. Concentrate on your exams and prove them wrong for making a bad decision. It’s tough but it’s never personal

Why Warwick? - I went to the open day and loved the vibe tbh, they are ranked highly in league tables for Politics, Its not too far from home if I wanted to come back and their course structure is my actual dream so...
Anyone know when offers/rejections may come thru???

Sure, A* A* in Physics/ Maths and A A in Computer Science/Further Maths.
Not really sure why I got rejected and they didn't give a reason, I have 100% attendance and in general always been well behaved in school.
