Hi, i have applied for the school leaver audit role with GT and I am on the final stage before the offer. Has anyone else reached this stage or completed the interview too? If so do you have any advice?

ALSO, does anyone know the starting salary for this role ?

GT isn't Big 4? And OP's applied for a school leaver role (aka an apprenticeship, so I highly doubt it's 32k, I'd say 21k in fact).

How was the final interview for you?

How was the final interview for you?

I thought it went bad haha, but turns out my interviewer was really nice and was just trying to find out more. I tied in around 3 examples (till operator, a human rights project I did, and weekend tutor). However, it was 40 minutes long, and it didn't feel as long as you'd expect a 40 minute interview to feel. But definitely revise those CLEARR competencies, and make sure you have some examples to back yourself up. Also expect the unexpected, because the interviewer sometimes asked follow up questions. Research GT (for instance, you have to know why you prefer it over the "big 4"), and know about the role you're applying to inside out. But just be calm, the interviewer's ultimately going to be going off your energy so be headstrong.

How much prep did you do before hand if you don't mind me asking?

Like none, because I actually don't want to to do audit anymore, so I was planning on just flunking. I ended up getting an offer. I used my digital interview prep, and just read off of my notes verbatim. That's probs not what you need to hear though - spend a good 2hrs drafting up answers to competency Qs/qualifications/why GT/why this role and memorise/rehearse them.

Looking back at the emails, I completed the group exercise and 6 days later I got an invite from a resourcing advisor at GT.

Practise strength/ competency based questions. There’s only 6-8 questions, it’s really chill. Interviewers are so nice. Look on Glassdoor for common questions too

Hi ! I just wanted to ask if anyone has any tips for the group exercise, I've got mine tomorrow and I've never done anything like this before so I'm quite nervous.
