It can depend on the specific subject and what was taught in your master's, but generally the same marking criteria for academic assignments would apply.
70%: critical thinking so long you meet the other criteria
60%: correct answer with adequate analysis
50%: marginally incorrect answer or poor analysis

With a master's dissertation, you should be expected to do your own research and you would need to do an extensive literature review.

In terms of what techniques/skills or learning material you should include, you would need to look through what you have learned during your master's degree as well as what they have specifically taught in the dissertation class you had when prepping for the dissertation assignment.
You would also have recieved a unit outline brief of the dissertation module, and it should have outlined the marking criteria for how the assignment would be marked.

Throughout your dissertation, you would be corresponding and meeting your supervisor on a regular basis so he/she would be providing advice on what you would need to do.

If your subject is within business/economics, I might be able to provide certain pointers.
