I broke up with my ex 1 and a half years ago, I was her first ever boyfriend and we went out for 2 months. We broke up on bad terms because I flirted with her friend a little bit and she saw us dancing and flipped. We hadnt really spoken since then and I've not really missed her.

However, since we've gotten to university we've become best friends since we dont really know anyone else here. Thats really cool but...I really like her as more then a friend. We're like perfect for each other and if it wasnt for our past...I really think we could go out. I told her how I feel back in September when we had just started university and she said it was too complicated and she didnt see me that way anymore. Also she said she wasnt sure she believed me because I had lied to her in the past.

She's really flirty with me though and it does feel like there is some attraction...she doesnt even like to go out clubbing/partying without me! I'm just trying to work out how to build upon it...I didnt used to really care about her but in the past few weeks I've been there for her whenever shes needed anything. I'm being the nicest I've ever been to anyone in my entire life...not just because I like her, but because I really feel like I care about her loads. I'm hoping she'll start to see me in the same way I see her...Is there anything more I can do apart from being a good friend?
