We've just finished two weeks on diarrhoea in all its shapes and sizes... not the most enthralling time of my life but I suppose it has a huge importance in practice!
(we had actors come end of 2nd year.. really good!)

nah thats the main uni, where we have written exams, where the museum is and the uni gift shop all the important peoples offices, student services etc etc etc. we have lectures in a building next door two days a week though and that building is nearly as old, my favourite building is the porters lodge, might try and get a photo of that. I want to live in the porters lodge.... most of the other depatments have building nearby, the medical school is just down the hill in a very modern looking building. not a patch on the main uni!

    guess what i did today?!

well for starters i was on time for my 9 start. first lecture of genetics and geonomics. um it sounds like its gonna be "fun". the lectuers are all from the school of bio sciences for this module and the lady who does topics 1 and 4 (in otherwords most the lectures) does them in a self teach kinda way, but yeah we had a register casue last year hardly anyone turned up to the sessions cause they all deemed them pointless if they were self teaching.
Then we had 2 lectures on respiration. exciting stuff.
In between these lectures i phoned some landlord dude to agree to meet and sign contracts for next years house. yay! at last!
Then i went to my mates so she could make me lunch casue im a lazy bugger. this was followed by a trip to asda for supplies. I Now need to do some washing before i actually run out of underwear, but i have a feeling it wont get done till tomorrow since i have footie later and im hungry and also need to tidy my room.

Spent last week at a vets to remind myself why I'm putting myself through the stress of a veterinary degree. It was a good week. Only saw one anal gland squeezing. Watched a hip replacement which is always fun. Also got to see an owl's fractured wing be repaired after it had been shot. Met the most evil ****** in the world. Even its owner is terrified of it and it has to be crushed to sedate it and then anaesthetise it. Fun!

came home and cooked up some tasty rice and stuff.
and now for the exciting part, I SIGNED ON A HOUSE!!!
no carboard box for me next year. 7 of us, 1 guy 6 girls lol.
    £57 a week. not bad.
now its time to raz it up!

2 of the vets and maths and the guy are all in the rowing club, one of the biologists lives with one of the vets etc etc. a complete mixture.

ah phalanxs and sesamoids and centres of ossification, dont worry the hind limb is easier than the forlimb, there are a lot less muscles for a start and the nerves are much easier!

i still preferred the forelimb, might be because i didn't sleep during those lectures (much) and was only hungover during dissection once.
and its phalanges bex, not phalanxs.... pftt and you're supposed to be the anatomy expert.
still id be quite happy to do more limb stuff if we got to stop this neuroanatomy rubbish, bugger, we have finished havn't we?
