could i be an art teacher with an architecture degree

i think i might study architecture in uni however if i did want to go back to doing art would i be able to become a secondary school art teacher with an architecture degree?
i havent done research into this because im only in y12 so im thinking ahead, but i feel sad to leave behind all hopes of an art based career as soon as i get to uni. i also have no idea if teaching would be for me its just a thought

If you don't do a BEd with QTS, you would be looking a PGCE with QTS. An education related qualification without QTS (qualified teacher's training) is not suitable for teaching.

Examples of art based PGCEs include:

The entry requirements is that the undergraduate degree should have at least 50% of the relevant material. I would argue an architecture undergrad degree should more than qualify, but you can email each of these universities to get a confirmation of this in writing.

If you're not if teaching is for you, speak to the teachers in your classes and occasionally drop into a junior class during a free period to help out and see if you like it.
