Do any previous applicants have any idea on what the extra information / question part requires?

This appears to be a new part of the process to replace the video interview

It isn’t, it was the same last year when VIs were part of the application process. It’s scheme-dependent and checks eligibility for the scheme etc
Hey, just thought I'd post my own progress on here.

WSQ1:A lot of alignment
SJQ: High Range
Numerical: Higher than the majority
WSQ2: Upper range

My chosen schemes are (in order): Science & Engineering, Generalist (STEM), Generalist, and Diplo

I finished the tests at around 11pm on 13/12, and got the link to the WBS at 00:10 on 14/10.

Love this wee community, so helpful

Quick question... did you get emailed about the WBS?
Yes, you get an email asking you to complete it with a 5 day deadline again

For those who have done the WBS, has anyone been asked to complete the extra info yet?

My schemes don't have extra info requirements. I think it's only for those where you need a specific quantitative or science degree, to ask for details.
I guess now it will be a long time before we hear back because the next step would be the assessment centre invites.

From the FAQ - All Fast Stream schemes other than Generalist, Commercial, Finance, Digital, Data, Technology & Cyber, Property and Human Resources require you to complete additional information online.

I did projects which doesnt seem to need any extra educational requirements, so who knows what info they want for it! Guess I’ll just try forget about the application until feb/ March 😅

Ah, OK, so no idea what is the extra information then. It may be asking for some motivational or STAR questions specific to the area? Perhaps these schemes are more competitive and they want to filter out a few more applicants.
I thought I would also upload my progress just so I can stay updated on what the usual timescales are. I got:

WSQ1: Some alignment but to a limited degree
SJQ: Strong capability/high range
Num: Higher than the majority
WSQ2: Above average

I finished my tests after midnight on the 13/12/22. I haven't had my WBS unlocked yet and i'm concerned about WSQ1 affecting that.
I applied to Social Research, Generalist, Finance and Human Resources.

Someone previously said it took 2 days to unlock for them. I wouldn't worry too much at this point, since it might unlock tonight at Midnight for you. Here's a handy list of applicants to success ratios:

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1039977/2021-CS-Fast-Stream-External-Annual-Report-Tables-pdf-15.11.21.pdf

Social Research is one of the most competitive, with more than 150 applicants for every space last year, so that probably counts against you: You need to beat 149 other applicants to get the space, meaning if they cut 50% off in the first bit, it's 74 applicants you need to beat to move on to the second.(Probably less. If they cut 50% off, they have 75 applicants left for each space. 37-38 applicants if they beat the WBS. Then 19 for every place if they cut another 50% off, then you're competing against 18 other applicants for the space.)

But you might qualify for Generalist or Finance.

Thank you so much, that's really helpful. It's my first year applying so I won't be too disheartened if i'm not successful.
Did you pass? I got more or less the same scores, just finished the tests there.

I think it can take 2 days / 48 hours for work based scenarios to unlock. At the moment i've heard nothing to say if i've passed or failed. Just a waiting game for the next step but i'll definitely write on here if they unlock.
Anyone apply for Commercial ?!

What were your scores exactly? I got:

Mostly Aligned WSQ1
Above Average: SJQ
Higher than the Majority: Numeric
Average Range: WSQ2

It hasn't unlocked for me, yet. I applied for Statistics, which had the highest rate of acceptance last year.

Yep, it’s one of my 4 options

WSQ1: mostly aligned
SJQ: average (always struggle with SJQ so was happy to get average this time around)
Numeric: higher than majority
WSQ2: mostly aligned

What schemes did you all apply for?
Wondering if there's a separate pass mark for each of the four tests or whether they take an average of all of them
