so guys are u actively using the information from the case studies when answering "most effective" or "least effective"? So u have to basically find the case studies that link with the topic in question, as well as use the same info on the question page?

You use the information when relevant but always keep it in mind. Sometimes the question links directly to some of the info, sometimes it's more general. As a rule of thumb I'd say if you see something you recognise then double check the info and see if it's relevant, otherwise I wouldn't worry.

I see, thanks mate. So for most of the questions in the Case Study Assessment, did u look back and forth the case studies or was most common sense?

The majority only really require you reading the info at the start, but there were a few where I went back through to double check that I'd remembered it right and it was actually linked to the question. Honestly it's very similar to the first SJT but with a bit of context.
I see, thanks a lot mate.
Also, for those that completed the WBS, did u guys find the Learning Assessment easier than the Case Studies one?
just completed WBS .

1. average ( used the word yo performed well and sounded positive)
2. average ( sounded slightly negative like I didn't do so well

Do not feel too confident that i passed, did make it further than last year. Hopefully, i do progress if not ill be back next year. 3rd time is the charm eh !!

good luck to all and now I just have to wait and see if I get through

What has everyone's average wait between completing WBS and finding out you passed/additional info opening been?

Still waiting, here. What schemes did you apply for?
Middle of Feb, oh wow, could still be quite a wait then! I'll update here once I hear back, but I'm guessing the fact we're still waiting must mean we're quite close to the borderline for unlocking WBS either way?

Also, sorry if you've already answered this elsewhere but how did you do in the tests and which schemes did you apply for?

Yep, I am still waiting after completing all the online tests on the 8/12. Since applications are now closed I expect we will find out if we have progressed soon although it says online that they aim to set the final pass rates by middle of feb for all the online/wbs

My WBS 2 was same. It mentioned some capability to absorb key points and that my performance was in the average range compared to others. Didn't sound negative unless there's different feedbacks for average

Got same wording as you . What schemes did you apply for ?
Sorry to hear that mate! I scored lower than you (also one below average, but only two high with the other being average), so not expecting too much anymore either lol

I applied within a few days of it going live. My WBS opened pretty much straight away, within a few hours but I am still waiting to hear if I’m in or out at this second stage.

WAQP1 - More than the majority
SJQ -High range
NT - higher than the majority
WAQP2 - stronger than most applications

WBS:
Higher than the majority
Average

It matters more what you applied for. If you applied for HOP and Diplomatic, then you're out for sure. If you applied for Economics, then you may be fine.

Same here. I applied the day it opened and got the exact same scores, WBS opened almost immediately. My guess is my Average on the second WBS ruled me out for HoP at the very least so am waiting for everyone else to finish their WBS so final pass grades can be set. I'm assuming (and hoping) it's just HoP holding me back.

I did apply for HoP and Diplo, realised it was a mistake after following this thread and reading the statistics. I'd already concluded that I'd be out on those two but do you think I may still have a chance for my other two choices?

Generalist was my 2nd choice and PD was my 3rd, if the order of preference makes any difference.

You definitely have a chance. If you were out for sure, you'd have been told so already like the other people on this thread. You're in the 'Orange' side, which means you still have a shot.

It'll depend on how many people applied and what their scores are. This year was so rushed, I suspect there were fewer applicants and this improves your chances.
I’ve got the email from FS this afternoon with a title ‘You need to answer some additional questions’. What confuses me is the state of the page when I log in. It says: “Check your scheme preferences, as the order may have changed” and still shows the 4 schemes I’ve chosen when applied, but the additional information is only being asked for PD. Last year I had 4 in the running before AC but had to submit additional info for 3 out of 4 schemes. The schemes this year are exactly the same. Also, when I click on the button to withdraw from individual schemes, it doesn’t let me chose which one to withdraw from. Based on all of this, am I correct in thinking that I’ve only made it through for PD? If anyone has been in the same situation and confirm it one way or another to save me the hassle of trying to contact FS, that would be much appreciated!

Thanks, yeah I guess it's just a waiting game and I need to stay patient for now.

And that's a good point, hopefully the rushed nature of the entire scheme might boost everyone's chances this year. I only found out literally the night before the application deadline that the Fast Stream would be going ahead after all, so there are bound to be people who didn't realise and consequently didn't apply.
