I had my assessment centre on 24th Jan and was absolutely certain that I’d failed because I found this year’s AC so much harder than last year, and I came away really upset.
Just got an email that I’ve been offered a role on Generalist 😭 I’m over the moon. Don’t give up yet or be too harsh on yourselves, keep checking those inboxes! And good luck x

Brilliant, well done. Now comes the obsessive checking of your inbox for the follow-up email.

What was your score out of interest?
Guys I have a question. I'm going to do my phone interview in the coming weeks for the SDIP. Say I become successful, for next year's Fast Stream Application, do I go straight through to the FSAC stage?

For example, for Finance, the final stage is the FSAC one. So, will that mean I won't have to do any tests/extra info and go straight to the assessment centre?
Has anyone had FSAC results for Diplomatic or Project Delivery yet?
Hey All, I just found out I passed the AC with a score of 11! Surprised because had my AC last week and thought I bottled it lol

It was my 2nd attempt applying for the fast stream so supper chuffed
Congrats! So happy for u! Btw, I have a question. I'm going to do my phone interview in the coming weeks for the SDIP. Say I become successful, for next year's Fast Stream Application, do I go straight through to the FSAC stage?

Has anyone had FSAC results for GSR yet?
Thank you!!

So if you pass your sdip (e.g complete your objectives/ your manager passes you) they give you a code to use. This code allows you to skip all the online tests and go straight into the assessment center when you first apply for the FS.

So naturally you just have to pass the AC to get into the Fast Stream. (Unless you have a final selection board which I think you still have to do)

Great, thank you! There's a possibility I could get a contract from another company so it looks I could work here until next year when I hopefully get in the AC stage

What streams were you in the AC for?
I applied for DDaT for my 1st choice and generalist, and I got into the DDaT scheme

I've already begun that haha. Might just set a date in the distant future and check it then or else we will drive ourselves mad.
I got 10.9 which is lower than I got last year, so I think the pass rate is reflecting the difficulty this year (thankfully). Congrats on passing by the way

Just out of interest, do you remember what the starting salary was for DDaT? That's my first choice too (yet to do my AC!)

Starting salary is £28,840 for every scheme I think
Has anyone heard back for HR?
(Original post by mjjjj44)Has anyone had FSAC results for GSR yet?

Mine is scheduled in March.

On the invitation email, it states that I am invited to the Fast Stream Assessment Centre (FSAC) and links the corresponding guidance. However, I was under the impression that applicants to the Government Economics Service would attend an Economic Assessment Centre (EAC) which consists of a quite a different assessment method. Does anyone know which AC is for the GES?

Congratulations! Out of interest, why was it much harder than last year?
Hi, has anyone heard back for commercial? My assessment centre was on 26th Jan so it's been a few weeks now
Mine was 26th Jan for commercial too and I haven't heard anything

If GES is the same as GSR, you will do a typical FSAC which is the same as for all other schemes. If successful you will then have to do a FSB which is scheme-specific
