Just had my AC. Guys in my group were great but it’s a shame we’ve ran out of time on the team exercise. Hopefully, the penalty for this won’t be too horrific or does it mean we’ve failed the exercise completely? Will failing one if the tasks automatically mean failed AC or not quite? Also, does anyone know why the leadership exercise gets marked and evaluated by only one person? It seems strange as only allows for one person’s view that may be affected by whatever personal biases that person may have.

The feedback for the team exercise touches on lots of things. Coming to a decision is only one part so I wouldn’t worry too much, especially as it sounds like to you were working well together.

Also, if you don’t perform too well in one exercise you can still score well overall. My feedback for the written exercise was pretty critical - my ideas were « generally unremarkable » - but I still scored 12.36 overall. I have no idea about the number of people marking the leadership exercise though!

Just received news I passed my AC on 01/03/2033! Anyone else though to the commercial FSB?

Yeah I am. Mine opens Monday 9am and you have a week to do it. Its essentially a video interview

Congratulations! Same here. I logged on and it asked me to confirm a date and time they suggested. It says it’s a virtual video interview. Whether it’s with a person or recording your answers I’m not sure though.

Its recording your answers
Has anyone heard back from FSAC for Social Research yet? Seeing loads of people being successful but none for GSR so wondering if certain schemes naturally take longer? Had my AC on 31st Jan and haven’t heard back yet so starting to be a bit discouraged.
Has anyone been successful at AC for STEM or Data?

My ideas were also general unremarkable and I passed!! I definitely did worst in the written exercise but managed to get more score up on the other exercises!

Congratulations on passing  I’m glad I’m not the only one then!

I haven't heard back either and my assessment centre was on the 26th Jan. It's annoying but just sitting tight at the moment is all I can do.

Hopefully certain streams just take longer!! It definitely is discouraging but fingers crossed!
Have there been any rejections after AC’s at all this year?
This is my fear tbh; are they just going to reject in a huge chunk. I really struggle with uncertainty and change because I am autistic and it is getting to the point where I am considering withdrawing because I can't make any plans for my future or where I can move to after my tenancy ends soon :frown:

The scheme is great and I have worked really hard for it, but if it continues to have a drastic impact on my mental health I don't know how much it is worth it. The team confirmed they had marked my assessment centre and the result was there but they were not posting it yet, which makes it all the more just frustrating and nerve-wracking.

I know most people are in the same boat so I can't complain, it's just consuming literally all of my thoughts and I check my emails multiple times per day just out of hope of some kind of response. Even if it is a rejection, at least I would have confirmation.

Hi please do not withdraw. I am in the same boat and I too I am anxious. I think this is an issue that needs to be feedback to the assessors. It is not fair that some people who did their assessment centre a couple of days ago have received their results, whereas others who did their assessment centre months ago are still waiting for their results. It is important that they are transparent as to what factors determine the timescale results will be released or have a specific date for when all results will be released.

I suspect that they are waiting for all assessment centres to conclude then set a pass mark.
Hi Guys,

I'm currently doing research for my dissertation on the use of AI and automation in early careers recruitment. I would like to request your perceptions and views of AI being used. This survey should take no longer than five minutes. I appreciate your participation. Thanks

Hey, I’m so sorry to hear your anxious. You worked hard for this and it would be a shame to disregard all the work you put into the application so far and withdraw due to anxiety. You might not be looking for advice but have you considered making yourself busy for the foreseeable future so you don’t dwell on the FSAC outcome and potentially setting a time each day to check through your emails rather than checking them all the time which is probably just making your anxiety worse? Let me know how you get on. Whether you get through or not you’ll be okay figure it out.

I’ve just seen someone get rejected for the finance scheme on the reddit thread so I suppose the rejections have started
I've just had my FSB for project delivery, and they said that they will release the results by May 10th at the latest. So if anyone is still waiting to hear back from the AC, this might give you a bit of a timeframe. The last PD AC results must be at least a couple of weeks before the FSB deadline.
I had my AC on 28/02 and they said the latest anyone would hear back is 26th of April, apparently this is when the last AC is due to take place. Seems like ages away and the anxiety of waiting is awful so fingers crossed they let us know soon. Congrats to everyone who has passed

Just got my offer for Generalist STEM, does anyone know how long I have to wait for the follow up email?
I’ve just passed AC, does anyone know how I can check which streams I’m still in the running for? I’d applied for Diplomatic, PD and Generalist.
