I'm looking to buy a new watch. I was wondering if anyone on here could recommend one to me. I would like the watch to have crystals on it and it has to look really feminine.

Also, this is a long shot, but many months ago, on an issue of What's On TV there was an advertisement of a watch on the back cover. I really liked it but I can't remember the brand of it. Don't suppose anyone on here would know? All I remember is that the watch had lots of crystals, including pink ones, and the brand had '&' in between 2 names (e.g Dolce & Gabbanna).

No. I don't particularly like the dial or the charm.

I'm looking for something that looks a bit more delicate. My ideal one would be the one I saw on the back of that magazine but I can't even remember what brand it was.

Nope. It's a nice watch though. But it's not really what I'm looking for.

It's hard for me to describe the watch that I saw so it's difficult for others to help me find a suitable one. Let's just say it was very princess like. It's a very beautiful watch with yellow and pink crystals all over it. So I would ideally like to find that one but otherwise, something similar will do.

Do you really want one with yellow and pink crystals? It won't match every outfit then

Well if your looking for crystals in a watch I'd personally go for a DKNY one, they have a good range in that style (I work in a jewellers!) I think they do pink ones too

Depending on how big your budget is, you can get a Rotary Rocks watch for just over £100. No messing about with tacky crystals, they have real diamonds, and some have mother of pearl dials too. Nice and feminine, well made, and they'll look classy. Watches smothered in nasty crystals just look really nasty and cheap in my opinion. Rotaries don't break the bank and add a touch of class.

If you have a budget of above £100, then, without a doubt, avoid brands like D & G, Fossil, and DKNY. Might be worth looking at Seiko and Citizen too, they occupy a similar price bracket to Rotary and do some nice ladies' watches. Unfortunately, I'm not hugely knowledgeable of their ladies' range, but I'm sure if you do some rooting around, you could find something nice.

    Hope that helps

Eesh, that is one horrific watch. And at £140, that's even worse than the other one. I do wonder what's going through the heads of some designers...

£40 seems like a fair price. But it also highlights the ridiculous mark ups fashion brands put on their watches - Amazon will still be making a profit on that watch.

Next have loads of lovely one's. From highstreet to designer. What's your budget? Looking for a leather/fake leather strap? Or metal?
