I'm having a bit of a crisis at the minute. I have just found out I need A Level Biology or Science to get into a certain course at uni, most of the prospectuses don't tell you this but when you actually talk to the uni's they tell me they won't take the BTEC I'm doing at the moment on it's own. So now I have from now til September to do something about it - I really want to go to uni next year so I have to act fast! I know there's no chance of me completing a whole A Level in 9 months but maybe an AS - in either Biology, Human Biology or Science. I have found one college that does AS Biology in the evenings but it started in September, I'm phoning them tomorrow but they will probably tell me it's too late to start. So I need a back up plan! Does any one know of anything I can do? This course is really important to me and I don't want to spend the next two years doing A Levels when I could be at uni. Any suggestions?

Are you sure the uni will accept the BTEC and just an AS level, not a full A-level?
