It has no merit, you can be from a top 5000 university and still get in as long as you can pass the tests and AC. Also, you can be from the top 3 and still not get in. When I was doing my AC with Sky, there were many people with non-computing/CS degrees and some were doing career changes. These companies don't really care where your studies are as long as you meet their minimum requirements. Another example is a mate I have, he accepted an offer for a summer internship in London paying 8K per month + corporate housing and we are both in the same uni(he is doing a year in industry).

Technology got it last week(including myself) and this week looks like it was Data Science(Technology and Data Science are 2 separate programs). My guess is other programs will be next week.

was this for engineering? i'm now sitting one of the assessments for that scheme. they extended the closing date to the 28th february.

Who here applied for Business and Commercial Banking Graduate Scheme (west yorkshire)? And did their job insight week commencing 19 Dec. Have you head anything back?

Thank you for your interest in the Lloyds Banking Group Data Science Graduate Scheme.

We were really hoping to let you know the outcome of the first stage assessment today but we need a little more time.

We will be in touch as soon as we have completed our reviews. We apologise and thank you for your continued patience.

Kind regards,

I had this email too…

Hi, I applied for Lloyds Technology London 1 day before the closing date, I hope that isn’t a problem… (I did complete the assessment which the email said to do before the application close date)

I did however nearly mess up one of the video questions, I completely forgot one point I was gonna say and I didn’t say anything for like 3 secs and just skipped to the next point. Tried my best not to get into panic mode and recover from this situation. Do you think I’ll still have a chance or it’s over?

I’m still yet to get a feedback email.

You never know but a lot of people have been whitelisted already and the waiting times are long. I don't think this one thing would cause you to get rejected, but unlikely that you will get an answer anytime soon. Good luck!

Thanks  I applied to a lot of the graduate schemes already but most of them are taking forever to respond. I applied late for Lloyds as I wanted to get ready for the coding test but I was shocked to see how easy it was.

I’ve read the posts here and it seems like even if you do well in the assessments you might not get an AC invite. Job searching sucks 😢 I get that thousands are probably applying for these graduate jobs but still.

The main assessment is the video/question ones and not the coding. These programs spend 1-3 months just training you, so when looking for candidates they are not looking for technical god. If you can show that you have potential and can work with people, you are more likely to get in than someone who got 100% on the coding test. Heck, there are at least a few people here who failed with perfect scores.

Oh ok, I had applied for graduate programmes that rejected me for not getting a good mark in the coding test (when I felt I did decent) so I just assumed the worst and did some preparation for upcoming ones.

My video interviews are not perfect but they should be good enough to proceed hopefully.

Does anyone have any idea about what they ask in the final assessment for Data Science. Like is it gonna be more about ML or python or SQL. I know there will be a group task and a 1 on 1 interview

Hey, the same thing happened to me and I got the invite to the AC. Maybe you did better in other areas and they'll see that. Good luck!

Hi, I’ve had 3 views on my linked in profile in the past week from “software developers at Lloyd’s banking group”, do you think this is a good sign ???

That must be a good sign! If your Job Sim wasn't good enough they probably wouldn't bother looking you up, so I assume you're being considered for the next stage. Good luck!

I don't think so they do this much research for a single candidate, as they mostly judge on information that you submit in your application and performance in online assessment.
Maybe you have sent connection requests to some people and they have seen your profile. As per I know LBG have specific recruiters to shortlist application.
Also, did you get any update on your application and when did you complete your assessment?

Just got an email saying I've been put on reserve. Fingers crossed some places open up 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

How long does it take to receive a feedback email after completing the online assessment?

Me too, for Data Science
Does that mean they will let us be part of the final interview only if someone doesn't claim the space allotted to them. If not, will we be rejected?
