Basically iv been out of work now for 5 months, as I moved to a completely different place.

Been looking for a job so much but cant find anything. I really want to do a modern apprenticeship, in something like plumbing or carpet fitting, something hands on.

    I am 22 am i too old?

How would i go about doing it?

    Does it pay at all?

If I remember correctly you can do apprenticeships up to the age of 24/25? You get a training wage as an apprentice, anything from 60 to 200 pounds a week.

Try contacting your local college for more info on apprenticeships or go to apprenticeships.org.uk for more info.
