International Fees

Hello, I am an applicant from the United States and I had a few questions.

Are there any scholarships you recommend?
Do they base tuition off of income? I added University of Glasgow to my fafsa.
How do you suggest I finance my education?

Hi there

You can find information about scholarships and loans at The University of Kent here: https://www.kent.ac.uk/scholarships
Hope this helps!

Best wishes

1) Check out the uni's scholarship page.
2) Nope, but they may waive some in the form of a bursary or scholarship if your annual income is below a certain threshold.
3) Well, international students don't get loans from UK, so it's got to come through a bursary or scholarship if you can't finance it yourself. I'm an international student too, believe me I hate the cost discrepancy :frown:

Hope this helps!

The principle of university funding in the UK is entirely different to the US. There are very few scholarships for undergrad students, and most that exist for internationals will be from your home country. Tuition for international students is based on the price the market will sustain, it has nothing to do with ability to pay. I'm afraid self-funding is the primary source for internationals.
