Masters funding

I have had funding already for a pre reg undergrad degree in adult nursing, if I wanted to do a masters pre reg in mental health say, would I get funding again? What about pre reg physio etc?

I was thinking about changing completely to psychology but understand that I could get funding for the needed conversion masters but not for any further masters in a psychology specialised area.

Hi there,

Some pre registration courses can be considered an exception provided you aren't already registered in the field you wish to study.
I'd need some more details to fully check into this. Please can you confirm the following details?

Qualifications you currently or will hold when starting the new course?
Name of the preferred university you'll study with and the full course name?
When will the course start?

Thanks,
Tina

Hi there,

Full time Psychology courses are not currently classed as exceptions and won't attract funding as a second degree.

Most pre reg healthcare courses are eligible as exceptions, however the universities haven't listed these on the database just yet for courses starting in 23/24, so I can't confirm eligibility for these just yet. These should be available to check in the spring.

Thanks,
Tina
