so.. how do you complete a square....?
well, it's rather simple only takes 175 posts to explain...
3. i am sure we can do it in 174.
4. well get four match sticks, and make a square shape out of them, and voila you have a complete square.

i am sure we can do it in 174.
that's a challenge if i ever saw one...
6. what a shame, it was well on becoming a real contender against harry potter....

Did you understand how I got -52 then?
8. i jsut want to ask:

0 = - 2x - 14
does this re-arrange to give: 14/2 = x, or is it 14/(-2) = x?

the second one.

0 = -2 x - 14 => 2 x = - 14 => x = -14/2 => x = -7

simple way:

so in

0=-2x-14

0+14 = -2x-14+14
14=-2x then divide both sides by -2

14/-2=-2/-2x
-7=x
12. right, so when the "multiply by minus two reverses", it becomes "divide by minus two".....its charge doesnt change?
13. Everyone, don't reply to any more of this guys threads NOT worth the effort.
14. i take that as a yes then

Am I supposed to just let mankind suffer the fate of not solving an equation? Hmm???....................OK!

the answer is to raise the power to the exponetial differential equation that is the sum of the hypotonuse all over pie.

right, so when the "multiply by minus two reverses", it becomes "divide by minus two".....its charge doesnt change?
not unless the "charge" stays on the side it came from

eg: -4x = 7
=>
x = 7/(-4)
OR
-x = 7/4
17. Lol. Anyway, From Now On, I Know That When I Reverse/rearrange "multiply By Minus Two ", It Becomes "divide By Minus Two", And Not "divide By Positive Two". Thanks Baahl And Niceone... I Enjoy Maths!!!! Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
