A-Level Choices

I’m currently in year 12 studying maths, physics and computer science a level. I am really not enjoying computer science and regretting picking it. I want to do either engineering, physics, maths and physics or maybe just maths at university. The only subject I’d probably choose if I drop computer science now is further maths which my college does Edexcel for. I got a grade 7 in maths gcse and I’m wondering how hard would further maths a level be and what’s it like. I’m not the best at maths a level and I wan willing to work very hard. I know dropping in December would leave a lot of work which I’m fine with but should I drop computer science a level for further maths? What’s further maths like? Any good resources? I know my college does Decision 1 and Statistics 1 so what are those modules like? Thanks

Hey so, just dome background, I do A-level further math from Edexcel too.
Honestly I'm not gonna lie, further math is a lot of work, but its more about being consistent, so if ure wiling in to put the effort in consistently, ure gonna be fine.

I did FP1, M1, M2 in yr-12 for further math and S1 for math, I really enjoyed the mechanics modules but the stats modules are really fun too, however they're on the trickier side. Again if ure consistent with the work ure gonna do just fine. I actually know a person who took further math in december of last year too and he did great! So don't stress too much about further math because there are a lot of resources out there, I found the following the most helpful:

TL math: https://sites.google.com/view/tlmaths/home/a-level-further-maths/pure?authuser=0
exam solution: https://www.examsolutions.net/
pmt: https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/maths-revision/

TL Math is what I used for concepts and understanding, he's literally the only reason I did so good in my AS.

Exam solution is more edexcel specific so I watched the videos before attempting the questions.

I used pmt for its worked solutions for past papers

THE TEXTBOOK IS THE HOLY GRAIL, pls use it!

Anyways, I hope this helps

btw I do Edexcel international

Heya!
I would first recommend talking to your teacher about this and see whether you can still change your a-levels and what they would recommend doing. If you are really disliking CS then do change it to FM and convince your teachers you'll be able to catch up with the material:h:

I hope this helps!
