They take a few days to respond so hopefully will be prior to Xmas.

Just heard back now - at this time which is weird. They said they will be contacting candidates in the new year to discuss roles and offers. I hope it’s good news for me. I’m wanting to get back into DWP lol.

Hey, I’ve just heard back and got offered the role. Luckily I was able to get my first preference and start date will be in 4-6 weeks. I hope you hear soon too!

Hey I’m also still waiting. I scored 38 and I’m on the reserve list too. I submitted my preferences in time so I’m starting to worry as I still haven’t heard anything!

They will probably contact you in the new year as thats the reply I initially received when I queried. Fingers crossed you are offered your first preference.

Hello, has anyone heard anything further? I got 34 - was offered a role just before New year but heard nothing else. Civil service jobs says I’m still on the reserve list.

Hey, I also got contacted before xmas and they said it would take a couple of days for the offer to come through but nothing has updated yet. Possibly in the next few days it may update.

Oh fab - thank you - where are you going to be based? ( and congrats!)

Congratulations to everyone who received the good news. I am having my interview on the 11th and I am really nervous.

Hey I got a provisional offer through. It doesn't contain any information on the actual role though. How do I find out the job?

Reply 29

Hi, congrats! My provisional offer came through with no other details either but a few days later someone called - I just know it’s in operational delivery and where but I think they’re still matching people to roles so I’m sure someone will be in touch soon : )

Anyone offered a start date yet? My PE checks have completed but still not heard anything yet.

Reply 31

I’ve received a start date of the 13th, have you heard yet?

Hey, I received an email asking for documentation. I showed them my passport in the interview but it seems they want to see the originals and some form, but no idea what to do. Any ideas? The email is below:

We have not received sufficient ID documents to verify the identity, nationality and residency of the candidate listed
We have not received the following:

A current/valid UK Passport -OR- A UK Birth/Adoption Certificate with an official document from a government agency (for example HM Revenue and Customs, Department for Work and Pensions, or the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland) or previous employer, showing their name and National Insurance number
A Current Photo Card Driving Licence or Group 2b Document which shows the candidates current address,
A Further Document from either Group 1, Group 2a, or Group 2b documents,
And a BSSVR form to cover all the ID documents supplied for RTW checks for this candidate.
NB: Online documents or printed copies of online documents cannot be used as valid ID for RTW purposes (except Bank/Benefit statements that have been signed/stamped by the Bank/Jobcentre).

It is your responsibility to arrange for the collection and verification of the missing documentation.

Hey Barcasean, are a current civil servant? The information they re asking you for sounds like what I had to supply before I joined the civil service so that they could complete security checks. I think I supplied passport ( photo of) and then driving licence and I think a bill with home address on - they had to be the original documents but I could just send pictures of them I think - so not online bank statements for example but something that came through the post. Hope you get sorted!
