Transgender VS Transfeminine

Can't find a simple answer anywhere -- what's the difference between the two? Is there one or are they interchangeable?

Thanks ) x
transgender can refer to anyone whose gender identity does not match birth assigned gender, whereas transfeminine is only for those whose trans identity is closely aligned with female/femininity AFAIK. Hope this helps

Okay so just so I'm clear, if someone was born M but identified as F, both transgender and transfeminine are "correct", just the latter is more specific than the former? x

transgender refers to anyone whose gender identity does not match the gender / sex assigned at birth

trans feminine refers to someone assigned male at birth who identifies as feminine whether their is none binary Femme identity or a more binary transgender women identity
