    Hi, if anyone can help me with this, u save my life

    Basically, my laptop worked fine, I printed loads yesterday and today when I was going to print out some papers, the printer was said to be offline, I thought there might be something with the cable but I tried to plug in my hard drives, USB and the laptop won't detect anything (

    I'm using Vista Home Premium btw if that helps to find solution :|

    Please reply asap if u know how

    If you look in Device Manager [Windows Key + Pause/Break > Hardware > Device Manager], at the bottom, can you see Universal Serial Bus Controllers, and below that, USB Root Hub?

    Another way is to try the free testing software on http://www.flashusbinfo.co.uk/usbfaq.php it can tell you if anything can be seen by the computer from the usb port
