So sorry to anyone rejected. Feel so ungrateful to say I’m disappointed with my offer- the location (which wasn’t on my list) and salary offered actually mean I can’t afford financially to accept it. That's such a difficult position, and I am so sorry to hear that. You're not ungrateful at all. Before you decide, I would pause and take some time over the weekend to explore your options. You can contact your Inn to see if they provide pupillage funding support to help you complete pupillage. For example, Middle Temple provides pupillage support grants, although I would assume it may not apply to employed pupillages. I would try to get advice from your Inn and see if they can help. You can also try to contact CPS to see if there is anything they can do to help you accept the position. Hope that is helpful

Your Inn should do pupillage scholarships so why not try that?

I am in the fortunate position of having received an offer for my first choice of location (in my last year of trying). We've been asked to accept the offer by the 12th May so anyone on the reserve list may get some good news after this date

My offer came through at 1145- so sorry if you’re still waiting - it is frustrating as they said it would be 10am same as gateway- it makes all the difference when so anxious
