Cas and offer letter

I have received offer leter from Coventry University for january 2023 and have completed all the conditions in time. I have passed the interview on 21 oct and paid my fees in time (6 October) then I've received a cas-shield link. I've applied for CAS letter on 15 November. And now the university has said that I haven't fulfilled all my conditions on time but i have. I have been waiting to study in my dream uni for a year and now they have rejected me without any solid proof or reason. Why is this happening?

What were the conditions of your offer - have you sent the Uni proof that you have passed all required qualifications etc?

Hi @Pritamdesale05

I know the phone lines are a bit temperamental or busy at times, however many students have found luck by repeatedly calling at different times of the day, especially in the morning.

Otherwise, you can try contacting via the below:

Online - Enquiry form for international students: http://www.coventry.ac.uk/study-at-c...t-information/

Email - [email protected]

Live chat - Chat with our recruitment and admissions team: www.coventry.ac.uk/livechat/

Office hours are 8:30am to 8pm GMT, Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm GMT Saturday and Sunday.

Sometimes the phone lines are busy and you may need to ring a few times but please do not get discouraged you will eventually get through and as mentioned above there are other ways to contact the university

All the best!

Thank you for information but sir, i have been calling atleast 4-5 a day for past week and no answer, the live chat option simply doesn't work, i have sent nearly a hundred email to mot just enquiries but to admission team, cas.io etc .....i have been deffered for no reason....i have missed my chance and now i have to wait for 9 more months to start my studies all because of a incompetent, unprofessional coventry University. Somehow even after fulfilling my conditions a full month in advance coventry sent me a mail on 23 dec. right before holidays thats im deffered. This is disappointing and frankly very very unprofessional. thank you for your help.
Hello @Pritamdesale05

I am sorry you have experienced this, I can understand your frustration at this whole situation. Due to the Christmas and New Years period, there was minimal staff working at Coventry University, and therefore less people to be able to answer the phone and respond to your emails; which already have a longer response time regardless. Staff have officially returned to work from today, and you are now more likely to be able to speak to someone.

Contact number: +44 (0)24 7765 2152
Office Hours: 8.30am - 8pm GMT Monday - Friday and 9am - 4pm GMT Saturday and Sunday.

I apologise on behalf of the university that you have had this experience, and it has been poor timing due to it being a period where many staff are off work. However, please may I advise you to continue to ring the number above, as you will be able to get through to someone eventually.

Kind regards,

Hi Saikat, how long does it take after application to get an offer?
Hi there,

Thank you so much for your question. After you've submitted your application, the time it takes to receive an offer can vary a bit depending on the course and time of year. But generally, you can expect to hear back within 5 to 10 working days. Some courses may take a bit longer if they require additional checks or documents—like a portfolio or an interview.

If you’ve been waiting longer than expected or just want an update, I’d recommend reaching out to the admissions team directly. You can contact them via email at [email protected] or give them a call on +44 (0)24 7765 2152. They’re super helpful and can give you the most accurate information about your specific case.

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 19:00pm GMT, Saturday 8:00am - 15:30pm GMT and closed Sunday.

I hope this informations helps you for your query
