Norris and Russel staying out. Wrong gamble.
Wow. You can see he has miles more grip.
Merc screwed their tyre strategy badly
Perez lead is 14s.
Even yuki didn't have tyres ready but leclerc should have been p2 without the blunder
Shame Ferrari screwed LeClerc. He's climbed to 5th but lost many seconds.
Max may or may not get investigated for that move
More rain, 10 minutes.
That ferrari really is lacking downforce. Alonso p5 now
Max takes zhou for 2nd. RB 1-2
Rain stopped a few laps ago. But 5-6 laps to more rain aparently
Max going 4 seconds a lap faster than checo atm.
Leclerc has front wing damage apparently. Sainz right behind him... And sainz now p6 ahead of leclerc
(edited 1 year ago)
Gasly right behind zhou for p3
Alonso is gaining fast on them however.

Max now 4.8s behind checo

They've always been better on low downforce circuits. Only 2020 were they any good in high downforce (and 2017 I think).

The Alpine does seem to handle wet weather well. Not really seen their dry performance in high downforce.

Last year they had great downforce before the technical directive. 2018 as well they had great downforce
Hamilton, zhou, alonso, sainz have pitted for softs
Correction, zhou on mediums but alonso takes him
Piastri 5s lap faster having stayed out but a minute behind.
