Medical imaging (ultrasound) at uni of cumbria

Hi can anyone share some honest insight on the application process, the course (full time) and anything you know about sonography as a career.

I’m planning to graduate from biomedical science at Lancaster Uni and then get onto this course. Struggling to find anybody who’s actually a sonographer or a sonography student to talk to.

Thank you

Hi there,
I am in the process of applying for the Mac ultrasound at the university of Cumbria for the 2025 Cohort.
I am on my last year of a MSc Diagnostic Radiography and imaging at university of Hertfordshire, made the application with Cumbria in February and now I am at the second stage of the admission process. They seem to be very efficient and straight forward. Your biomedical degree should be just fine. I would suggest you make your application as soon as possible as this course is in high demand. I hope this helps.

Hi, I just wanted to ask, how many hours are needed to complete the 2 years masters as I’m coming up to the end of my nursing degree and thinking of doing a masters.
