Just got the T171 results in and so that's all 360 points in the bag

You have 1112 and 1223 that gives a 2.1 Another 1 at level 2 or a 2 at
level 3 would give you a first.

congratulations on sticking it out for 7 years!

cheers Mike - I think an upper 2nd is more likely from a bit of reading

and to all those just embarking on their first OU course... I felt
pretty good when I got the Diploma in Computing, but this beats it by a
mile and the effort has been worthwhile.

thanks Mark - when my daughter was born I took a breather (well,
something had to give!) - it actually took quite a bit of effort to get
did and it certainly was worth making the effort.

Will I now get withdrawl symptoms I wonder? Maybe it's time to take a
peek at the taught masters pages....... <G
I think it is 1112 and 1122 because it is only the highest credits that
count if there are in excess of 120 credits at each level - This works
out at a first according to the OU charts AJ "Mark Townshend"

I'll let you know )
M101 Mathematics: A Foundation Course 1992 60 Distinction M205
Fundamentals of Computing 1993 60 Distinction M261 Mathematics in
Computing 1993 30 Distinction
2. M357 Data Models and Databases 1994 30 Grade 2 pass T223
Microprocessor-Based Computers 1994 30 Grade 2 pass
3. M353 Programming and Programming Languages 1995 30 Distinction
4. M355 Topics in Software Engineering 1999 30 Grade 2 pass
5. M301 Software Systems and their Development 2000 60 Grade 3 pass T171
You, Your Computer and the Net 2001 30 Distinction

Have another look. I see:
6. M353
7. M357
8. M355
9. M301 At level 3, and you only need 1/2 of the 33 of M301 to
give 1223.

The OU will send you your classification in the new year. Mine arrived
about 5th January this year. Congratulations on getting all those
distinctions. I didn't get any and got a 2.1 so I hope you get a first,

If you have access to Firstclass (which as an OU student you should
have), then it can be accessed via OU Shield -> Info Centre -> Degree
Information.

Or, I believe, it can be accessed via

It can indeed be accessed from that url - just entered my results there
and came out as 2.1 as Mark said.
Yup, have a look earlier in this thread.
doc on my Server, but it runs 24/7/365 except when it's down!

Have now received the letter asking me to choose a BSc or BSc with
Honours. The classification was, as per Mark's prediction, a 2.1
Well done youv'e obviously worked well to get so many distinctions. I
got one this year for T171, my first year of study and couldn't
belieeeeeeve it LOL. Good luck in the future Glenn
Why not do another easy level 2 half credit like Statistics in Society
or whatever its called its the easiest maths course or used to be, get a
distinction and Ist class?
