The Student Room Group

Am I able to get away with a student discount?

I am currently 20 years old and employed at a university lab. The catch is I'm technically not enrolled as a student. I have a valid identification card and ID number, but the card indicates that I'm faculty. I'm not sure if presenting my University ID is enough to qualify for student discounts, or if they will reject me for being faculty.

In your experience, which establishments do you think would allow me the student discounts and which should I avoid?

p.s. I am particularly interested in theater discounts
I would appreciate any feedback
You're not a student, you're not entitled to student discounts, end of story.

No honesty is integral.
