Yeah, apprenticeship is grade AO and then they say after 18 months of study you get permanent AO even though I already have a permanent contract! I was previously successful for Officer at the same base but then got told there were no vacancies which is why I then applied for apprentice when it came up. Yet I'm told an AO does pretty much the same work as an EO so it doesn't make sense at all.

I have no idea. None of it makes sense. I'm obviously only new to the job so not had much of a chance to ask questions but I definitely aim to find out how it all works. It will be interesting to find out how many EOs they have taken on recently. I applied for AO after being told there were no officer vacancies as I just wanted to get my foot in the door but the way I see it I will get the exact same training and do the same duties as the EOs but I'll be paid 3k less!

Will do. I had to do one for the job I'm in just now. I dont think its particularly role related. Was more how you come across, the language you use, facial expressions and body language. Hoping its similar to that.

Its a bit weird talking to yourself. Just make sure you look into the camera as if you are looking the interviewer in the eye
