Border force officer January 2023

I had my interview for BFO 6 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my professional offer yet I got an email within 24 hours stating I was successful:/

Done my interview for Border force heathrow last week and got an email saying I was successful a couple of days later.

Just because you've passed your interview doesn't mean you'll automatically receive a provisional offer. You may be put on a reserve list for 12 months.

Spoke with SSCL they said il be notified if I’m to be out on reserve list so that’s not correct

It is correct, I've been through the process. Applied in April 2022 got a provisional offer March 2023 currently going through checks. I had the email to say I was successful too but was then put on a reserve list. Yes, you will be notified by email if you're on a reserve list but my message above was trying to say don't get too excited because you've had an email to say you've passed the interview, you could then receive a further email a few months later telling you you're on the reserve list. Some areas have more vacancies than others. I applied over year ago and still ongoing. Good Luck anyway

No more emails today regarding video interviews February

Had my interview yesterday and found out today the I was successful. But still not got my hopes up as I really think I fluffed the interview so just expecting to be put on a reserve list if I’m honest ahaha

Gained security clearance for BFO role at Heathrow, anyone know what happens next in the pre employment checks? Just waiting for a start date/formal offer but I've also been offered a met police role so literally refreshing mails every day for some news!
