is it just me, or is this really the case
coz u have
ucl, lse, kings, imperial, rhul
westminister, kingston, brunel,qmul
qmul isn't rubbish.
but yes it has really old ones, and then former polys. Its the nature of a metropolitan city.
royal holloway - i bet you put it as a good one because you go there ha! x
"none in da middle"
QMUL is actually a good university, maybe on the middling side of good but it rates very highly for subjects like English. I think it just hasn't done enough to raise its profile.
But generally yes, I see what you mean. Socrates is right about the former poly / UoL divide. Obviously only UoL unis feature in the 'Golden Triangle' with Oxbridge, so historically they're bound to be seen as better.
Gratz, you can look @ league tables.
QMUL id in "da middle" or even a pretty good uni..
um, u forgot to put down sgul as amazin
I don't know why people are so impressed by/obsessed with London universities in general anyway...
Besides, a lot of the colleges of the UoL are specialist (LSE, SOAS, Imperial although that's independent now). I don't know what point I was trying to make with that exactly, but there it is.
