What is your "procedure"?

well we have to go and see the sixth form secretary, who then gives us a little form, and sends us to our head of year, who then decides whether or not we deserve to go home, if yes then he'll sign the form, we go back to the secretary who phones our parents to check that we are allowed to go home (at 16 - 18 yrs old) then we can leave.

Its lunch. You have lessons next. You have the runs, keep getting extremely hot/cold, shivering, coughing, sneezing and sore throat. Your limbs ache. You think you need to go home. What do you do?

We go tell whatever teachers we're supposed to be with, then sign out and go home.

They care that we're gone though, if you're off more than two days you get and email asking if you're getting better!

If someone's ill, they write their name and reason for signing out in the book and go. I think the school call home later on to check that you did go home ill, though.

I go to reception, fill out a tiny form saying who I am, who my tutor is and why I'm leaving then go home. If my parents are home I'll probably text one to tell them but won't bother if they're not and just tell them when they get back.

I generally stick it out but do limited work. I went into school the other week after having no sleep and had shivers and my friends had a go at me but i couldn't be bothered with the hassle. But we just have to sign the signing out book and we can go home thats it.

If I'm ill during a lesson I just go to the office and sign out. If it's break or lunch or during a free I'll go home and then ring in sick.

If you need to go home you just go there's no nurse or secretary.

no need to tell anyone a thing. no one checks up so it's all good =)
