yeah, i've given up on the cricket, and so now i'm wondering whether beach volleyball, as is being played at the olympics right now, is a proper sport or whether it just gives people the chance to ogle at slender women...
opinions?
I dont think it should really be considered a sport...

Card game with pegs for counting points. Something like this http://www.themangymoose.com/lodge/images/582.jpg

It's not as widely played as poker. Not sure about bridge personally.

I think a few guys estimated the results for the opening week of the prem (some with more success than others, *ahem*, Cossack).

I can't see this table lasting too far beyond next week though.
hmmm yes something went a bit wrong there!!! Too many high scoring games for my liking

the kiwis !!! ... but i dont like Tana Umaga's hairstyle these days . He looks like a pigtailed schoolgirl . sigh if only jonah lomu could come back
Lomu was a defensive liability. Sure he could run through people, but the rest of his game was plain poor.
Jeff Wilson retiring, that was a real loss

Rubbish, defence wasnt Jonah Lomus speciality but it wasnt really a liability he was perfectly capable of playing well with the other winger and full back, his defensive kicking wasnt perfect but then very few wingers are, Jeff Wilson was a great player, what he was not was the attacking weapon that Lomu was - Lomu forced some of the best teams in the world to change their tactics - that is the sign of a great player.....
