Great fight. A seventeen year old kid took one of the world's greatest ever fighters close. He was boxing fantastically towards the end. A pro fight and he'd have beaten the living crap out of him.

Good fight, Khan had the early initiative but rounds 2 and 3 saw the Cuban take control and stack up an unassailable lead. Round 4 pretty much saw him see out the time.

At the end: Khan 22 Mosa 30

Well done Amir Kahn!
Brilliant performance, especially in the 1st and last rounds. The Cuban was one of the best boxers, if not the best in the world. Now he retires, and Amir will win in 4 years time. Amir was disappointed that he's lost, but the score just shows how much he has improved. 3 months ago, Amir lost to the Cuban by 20 or so points, and this time, only by 8.
It was nice jestures between the Cuban and Amir at the end. Sort of mutual respect!

The points were Khan - 22 and Kindelan - 30.

Khan boxed brilliantly I thought although he lost it a bit in the second round. Last round was good though, he got in some great punches.

Here is something on it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olym...ng/3609740.stm.

I never realised Kindelan was that small!

There was a really sweet part in grandstand, where I think it was Amir's dad who thought he was just going to celebrate somewhere with a party. Instead he was told that the family had chipped in and got 2 tickets for the Olympics closing ceremony.
