Timmy should beat that unseeded guy.
Here has been his draw:

1.) Nobody who he was 1 point from being 2-0 down against.(sets)
2.) Nobody
3.) Average player who made silly errors
4.) Under-par and out of form past decent player
5.) Unseeded average player

For the Semi-Finals of Wimbledon...

Huh, how many times have I seen that before.

(Andre Sa for the semi's last time, heh, well done. )

Ikido? What's it like?

well its based on these ideas:

A person can body build for 5 years, his muscles and bones will be as hard as steel, but what is the one thing that cant Harden ever?? Its the Joints!

So its all about how to break up the joints in self defense, i dont reall know that much about it, but onme of my teachs, said he had played it, and said that an intermediate Ikido player could beat a very good karatae person

Sorry about spelling

Aikido, I have to agree, is very classy. Minimum effort for maximum effect type thing.
I do like karate, though.

I have very limited knowledge on martial arts XD.
I would so love to know more about them....I have a strange liking for martial arts, although my parents aren't letting me learn any!

the best to learn is to learn a hard hitting martial art, like karate. and learn judo, whihc is the most useful.

traditional chinese kung fu is probably the best imo. there are many types, from traditional shao lin style, to southern animal styles, which will include open hand combat, grappling, kicking, wrestling, and all sorts of weapons from staffs, swords, spears, halberds etc.

it requires great gymnastic ability, and is really aesthetically pleasing.

the downside is you'll have to train alot harder than for things like aikido and judo etc, and you have to be very flexible.

or there's always tai chi if you're not a hard hitting person, but be warned that that is a martial art that takes years to perfect - not an overnight sort of skill! it is the ultimate tho!

Ju-jitsu ain't bad, it's a mixture of karate and judo. It's done me fine for however many years. It includes strikes, throws and holds and some weapon work. I started in primary school but i've had to give it up recently, blame the exams as always. It ain't aesthetically pleasin 4Ed but it does the job, especially when you know what you're doin.

The ultimate is krava maga. Its basically streeet fighting, and is the official martial art of the israeli defence force.
Its an amalgumation of easy to do moves, effective, from lots of martial arts. Think the weakest move i learnt in it was breaking someones leg.
