I think the idea behind the thread starter's post was to get a better goalkeeper

no i am a proud austrian. its a really nice country, brilliant for growing up in and generally worth a visit. however, im looking forward to a change after 18 yrs of being here when i come to england. and the "atm" was meant in relation to the current standings of the wc qualifying table. twas a real surprise.

why dont i support rapid vienna? question: have u EVER seen the austrian league being played?? i jus dont like it...in comparison to the premier league its quite boring i must say. although theres always 1 or 2 teams that shine each season (this season it was GAK). and ive supported manutd for a LONG time.

AND i take it as a personal affence to be called a "glory supporter" i seriously like the team.

So why Man Utd then and why the Premiership? There are plenty of teams in the Premiership you could have chosen and plenty of other leagues to choose - Spanish, German, Italian etc.

that's not necessarily true...a lot of glory hunters will initially have a liking to a club because of their success, and then may get attached to the club

btw, i don't think your a glory hunter anyway

1st. i kinda have a british connection in my family...long story...so i feel more "connected" to england than i do to spain, italy or germany..and i dont like german teams (although it would b much easier to watch the german league here).
2nd. i actually started supportin united in order to spite my best guy friend and then i decided that they really were my team and i enjoyed watchin them play (and before u ask - cuz EVERYONE does - it WAS NOT cuz of beckham).

i mightve but the english teams r not so big here...its all so long ago. all i remember is that i supported them (as i said) to spite my best friend...ANYWAYZ the point im trying to make, is that i didnt start supportin them cuz i was/am a glory hunter/supporter (or any other words that could go here)
