Having owned all but the Mercurial Vapors, I'd have to say the two adidas ones are the most comfortable. Having said that I scored more with the Total 90s

So I guess my advice is get any but the Vapors as they are crap .

Yeh, I don't particularly like the way they grip on the big toe. They look the best out of all the boots though!

I've got F50s, and they're really light! Predators are much the same though, except for the cladding on the upper of the boot.

I've been goalie before in a 5-aside tournament, and it went ok. I found it really boring a lot of times, because there was not as much to do. I don't mind diving for the ball and stuff, but it wasn't as fun as playing elsewhere, and in the last game, I got injured. I saved a hard shot, and hurt my finger pretty bad, even though I was wearing gloves. That has sort of put me off being goalie.
And don't you just dispise all the padding/other protective equipment you have to wear?? Takes like 10 minutes to put on B4 every game, plus you feel so heavy/get hot etc. Perhaps not a bad thing in the UK, but in the middle of summer in Oz, YES, it is seriously an uncomfortable period of time!

But even when not a goalie, I still wear shin pads - that area's pretty vulnerable, and spike shoes, though mine are getting old now, need to chuck them out.

Hey well done for saving those shots in your 5-aside tournament!

Watching Real Madrid getting completely outplayed by Bilbao on Saturday I sat there wondering how many Real players would get in a world XI. Sunday morning I had a lot of time on my hands. Consequently I complied my own personal world XI. The results are as follows
Formation 4-4-1-1

GK. Petr Cech

RB.Cafu
LB.Ashley Cole
CB.Ricardo Carvalho
CB.Rio Ferdinand

MD(C).Steven Gerrard
MD(C).Patrick Vieira
MD(R).Pavel Nedved
MD(L).Robert Pires

ST.Ronaldinho
ST.Thierry Henry

Subs- Toldo, Nesta, Deco, Zidane, Shevchenko

If anyone disagrees then I would be interested to hear their opinion

Have to admit knowing almost bugger all about South American players at the moment, but on current form I'd go for this...

GK - Buffon

LB - A Cole
CB - Nesta
CB - Terry
RB - Thuram

LM - Nedved
CM - Gerrard
RM - C Ronaldo

AM - Ronaldinho
CF - Shevchenko
CF - Henry

Juve and Buffon have started veeeery very well, as have Arsenal and Cole. Despite Milan's frailties Nesta has been excellent consistently for about 10 years now and I rate him as the best defender in the world. Had to leave out Rio since he's been out for so long, otherwise he would've definitely been there. John Terry has been brilliant for Chelsea and any team that only concedes one (fluke) goal in 6 games deserves to have at least one defender in the side. Went for someone more solidly defensive than Cafu on the ride side of defence, since Ronaldo won't ever track back, so Thuram it is.

Stevie Gerrard got Liverpool into the Champions League on his own last year, Ronaldo is now adding a finish to his skill and he's been excellent for Utd this season so far. Pavel Nedved is very close to overtaking Zidane as the best midfielder in the world, and I couldn't put in Zidane since Real have been so poor this season.

Shevchenko speaks for himself, something like 95 goals in 155 in Serie A, Henry is just incredible (the *******) and at the moment Ronaldinho is playing brilliantly.

Was hard not to include Andy Johnson up front, but I just about managed to do it.

What has he got to lose?
True, he seems to have gone of the steam a bit since winning the champonship.
It was a good race yesterday with some good overtaking, including some from Jensn Button. Well done to him for gettig 2nd. Hope he gets to the top of the podium soon.
