So....in the future dont gloat about winning the carling cup when someone mentions Newcastle. You've obviously got an inferior complex if you feel the need to mention a mickey mosue cup win when someone mentions newcastle.

They should have banned Milwall fans, some of which are a disgrace.

Presumably it's the closest English team to Scotland who are in the EPL.
perhaps (s)he is being snide about the status of Newcastle United.

If that is the case, I suggest you look at this link which, at the bottom of the page places NUFC 4th seed for the UEFA cup group stages behind Lazio, Feyenoord and Parma based on past 5 years of European Performance.

I would also suggest this link which shows that last year newcastle were the 3rd best team in all european competition behind only Valencia and Marseille.

    So there!

but if you are looking for potential, i'd say we have the most potential in the premier league..

pardon....against the likes of jenas, dyer(if he gets there), milner, ambrose, bramble, bellamy, steven carr, aaron hughes et al, who have you got that could one day be "top of premiership class"

i dnt mean NUFC will win the Prem whilst they are there, i mean those players could play at an AFC or CFC or even shudders MUFC

Semi-final of champions league is a posibility.
a distinctly small one though surely....frankly you don't have the class in europe. getting beaten of Olympiakos was almost unforgivable, even if they do have Rivaldo!

Not suprised. Even though I praise Milwall, eugh, for their membership scheme and doing their best to get rid of their trouble maker attitude as it has financially screwed up the club it's not being strongly adhered to. So many fans just turned up without tickets and that should never have been allowed to happen. Lets hope all the injured are ok and pull through.

Good call about Adriano, had completely forgotten about him. I wouldmn't have him ahead of Henry or Shev right now, but in a few years I can see it being him and Rooney up front.

As for the person who said Gerrard was shite.

    What?
